What is MCP?
Model Context Protocol lets compatible AI applications discover and call external tools. Vaybel exposes tools for clothing design, mockups, listings, and related workflows through its hosted MCP endpoint.
Do I need to understand MCP to use this?
Start with the setup guide for your assistant. Connect through Vaybel sign-in or a scoped access token, depending on the client. Claude Code users can also install the official Vaybel Skills plugin. Other clients have their own server and authentication setup.
Which clients work?
Use a client that supports Vaybel’s hosted HTTP MCP connection and authentication. Consult the client-specific instructions in Settings → MCP. Availability can depend on the assistant’s plan and connector features; a configuration for one client may not work unchanged in another.
How does authentication work?
ChatGPT and Claude connectors use OAuth: sign in to Vaybel and approve a workspace and permissions. Developer clients use Personal Access Tokens. Manage and revoke either type of connection in MCP settings.
Is it safe for production agents?
Vaybel checks token scope, organization access, plan access, and credits, with rate limits on applicable tools. Start with a small workflow, inspect failures before retrying, and require review before publishing. Token controls do not replace your agent’s budget and approval rules.
How is it priced?
MCP tools use your existing workspace credits. Examples include 5 credits per AI design, 2 per Pro mockup, and 2 per listing draft. Social content costs depend on its format and requires Growth or above. Check the pricing page and tool reference for current costs and access requirements.
