The 2019 FAQ includes a first prototype when a deposit confirms a purchase order. Samples before confirmation incur sample and courier charges; sample fees are refundable on the order deposit, without a promised courier refund. First revisions and preproduction samples are included in bulk production; photo, salesman and full-size-run samples cost extra. Agree current fees and refund terms.
Prototype samples take an estimated 15 days. Fit samples take 15 days after prototype comments, preproduction/photo samples 15 days after materials arrive, and lab dips 10 days. These stages are separate; agree the total development schedule. The 2019 FAQ estimates average bulk production at 35 days after preproduction sample approval, followed by T.O.P. review and client sign-off before shipment. The category table instead gives 35–55 production days without a start point. Agree the current schedule and approval steps. The 2016 FAQ estimates about 10 days for a first prototype after receipt of a tech pack and at most 15 days for labels, trims, strike-offs, handlooms and lab dips. The category table gives a 15-day prototype estimate. Agree current stage timings for your project.
Estimated transit is 15 days by air freight, 30 days by ocean to California/USA, 40 days to Montreal/Canada and 45 days to the EU; small-parcel courier is 5–10 days depending on destination. Origins and the transit start point are unspecified. Agree the route and current carrier schedule separately from production.
The 2019 FAQ includes freight and customs clearance in LDP unit prices, with a packing list and commercial invoice sent five days before shipping and appointment delivery to the receiving department. Agree the current quote basis, included charges and appointment requirements.
