How it works

How making your own garment works.

Choose this when
  • You want a cut, fabric or fit that no stock blank offers.
  • You need your own labels, trims and packaging on the garment itself.
  • You can commit to minimums per style, often hundreds of pieces.
  1. Share what you want made

Send a tech pack, sketch or reference garment, with target quantities and price.

  2. Develop and approve samples

The factory makes patterns and samples; expect a few rounds and a sample charge.

  3. Produce and ship in bulk

After approval, bulk production usually takes several weeks before shipping by courier or freight.

Before you order

Check these first.

  1. 01

Minimums per style and per color, and whether they can make your quantity.

  2. 02

Sample costs, timing and how many rounds are included.

  3. 03

Who handles shipping, customs and duties to your country.

A few useful answers

Questions about clothing manufacturers.

Do I need a tech pack to work with a manufacturer?

It helps, but not every factory requires one. Many work from a sketch or a reference garment and develop the pattern with you. Profiles note what each manufacturer says it works from.

Why are manufacturer minimums so much higher?

Fabric is bought by the roll, patterns are graded across sizes, and a production line needs setup time. Those costs only make sense spread over a larger run.
