What Colorways Do
A colorway is the same artwork on a different garment color. Add them and you get one listing with a color option, not several separate products. Each color still carries its full size range.
If you publish without adding any, the listing goes out in a single color. That is the most common reason a shop shows only one color.
Where To Find It
Colorways are added on the design step, not the mockup or listing step. There is no color control later in the workflow.
Open Launch Product, pick your blank, and generate a design. In the product preview, look at the strip of round color swatches over the image. The first swatch is your current garment color. Next to it is a + button.
Click +, pick a color, and Vaybel renders the same artwork on that garment. Repeat for each color you want.
Order Matters
Add every color you want before you generate mockups and publish. The listing is built from the colors that exist on the design at the moment you publish it.

- Add colorways with the
+swatch. - Generate mockups.
- Create and publish the listing.
Changing The First Color
Before you add any colorway, clicking the first swatch opens a dropdown to change the master garment color. Once you have added colorways, that swatch switches to preview-only — clicking a swatch shows that color, it no longer changes the base.
Limits
- Up to five colorways on top of the master, so six garment colors per listing.
- Available on DTG and embroidery products.
- The blank must actually offer more than one color. Most tees and hoodies offer 50 to 80.
Why You Might Not See The Swatches
The product is all-over print. On AOP items — cut-and-sew jackets, windbreakers, leggings — the print covers the whole garment, so there is no separate garment color to choose. These blanks have exactly one color and the strip does not appear. This is expected, not a fault.
The blank only comes in one color. A small number of products do. The strip stays hidden because there is nothing to add.
The design has not generated yet. The strip appears once there is a real design in the preview.
Removing A Colorway
Hover a colorway swatch and click the small × in its corner. The master color cannot be removed.
Warning On A Swatch
A warning badge on a swatch means the artwork may not read well on that garment color — for example dark linework on a navy shirt. Click the badge to re-ground the artwork on that color. This regenerates the art for that colorway and costs credits, so it is always an explicit choice.
You can also leave it as-is if you have looked at the preview and are happy with it.
Different Artwork Per Color
By default every colorway shares the master's artwork and placements. If one color needs its own treatment, customize that colorway and it stops inheriting from the master.
