Choose a Blank for Your Brand

Browse the public Blank library or use Blank finder to compare garments with Brand Assistant before creating a product.

Updated 2026-09-20

A blank is the undecorated garment you build your product on. Decide what your customer should wear and feel before choosing the artwork.

Two Ways to Choose

Blank library is the public reference collection. Browse researched garments, read when to choose each one, and compare two to four blanks by fit, materials, construction and measurements. Find it under Resources in the website menu. No account is needed.

Blank finder helps you work through the choice with Brand Assistant. Find it under Features. Describe your garment, brand or drop, then review a shortlist and its tradeoffs. Brand Assistant requires an account and Starter or above.

Start with a Brief

  1. Open Blank finder. Use an example brief or write your own.
  2. Include the garment type, audience, intended fit and feel, weight, must-have sizes and colors. Mention the season and role in your drop if relevant.
  3. Select Find my blank. Sign in if needed, then review the prepared prompt in Brand Assistant before sending it.
  4. Answer any clarifying questions. Ask for a short comparison and the reasons to choose or avoid each option.

For example:

I need an everyday tee for my first essentials drop. I want a soft, lightweight feel, a closer unisex fit and several muted colors. Compare suitable blanks, explain the compromises, and ask me which size range I need.

The Assistant can use your Brand DNA where available. Bring the details of a specific drop into the conversation when they matter. Opening a brief does not automatically send an AI request or generate artwork.

You can also start from Find a blank in Brand Assistant, or Choose with Brand Assistant in Launch Product's product selection step.

Check the Evidence

Ask about the dimensions that matter to your decision:

  • Fit and silhouette, with finished garment measurements where available.
  • Fabric composition and weight, including differences between colorways.
  • Size and color range, construction details and documented care.
  • Reported feel and durability, distinguishing maker claims from review evidence.
  • Suitability, tradeoffs, source citations and unresolved gaps.

Published research is a snapshot. It does not prove current stock or pricing, and a missing fact does not mean the garment lacks that property. A product without published research may still be available in the catalog.

Provider printing, placement options, fulfillment and shipping are separate decisions. A provider's print quality should not decide which blank has the fit or fabric you want. Review current provider options before launch and check a physical sample where the wearing experience matters.

Continue in Launch Product

Choose a returned blank to open Launch Product's Design step. Review the selected product and available options. Enter or edit your artwork prompt, then generate when ready. Choosing a blank alone does not generate a design.

Use Your Own Agent

Use Use with your agent on a library record for its selection brief and Markdown research. The MCP catalog tools support discovery, researched details and comparisons using the canonical product UUID. See the Garment records API for anonymous JSON and Markdown access.
