Connect a Production Partner First
If you use a Production Partner such as Printful or Printify, connect it under Dashboard -> Settings -> Integrations. Then make sure the correct Production Partner store is linked to your Etsy sales channel. Follow the complete setup instructions for Printful or Printify before publishing.
If you do not use a Production Partner and will produce and ship orders yourself, create an Etsy processing profile manually.
Why Etsy Requires This
Every physical Etsy listing needs a processing profile. It tells Etsy whether an item is made to order or ready to ship, and how long you need to prepare it before handing it to the carrier.
Vaybel uses an existing profile from your Etsy shop. Vaybel does not create one or choose the processing time for you because this is the fulfillment promise you make to your buyers.
Create a Profile on Etsy
- Sign in to Etsy and open Shop Manager -> Settings -> Shipping settings.
- Open Shipping profiles & processing, or go directly to Etsy processing profiles.
- Under Your processing profiles, select Create new.
- Choose Made to order for print-on-demand products. Choose Ready to ship only when the item is already produced and available.
- Under How much processing time do you need?, choose the time you realistically need to prepare the order.
- Select Create.
Choose an accurate processing time
Processing time is not carrier transit time. For made-to-order products, include production, quality checks, packing, and the time needed to hand the package to the carrier. Choose Ready to ship only when the item is already produced and available.
Create a Profile in the Etsy Seller App
- Open More.
- Open Shipping.
- Open Your processing profiles.
- Select the plus sign.
- Choose Made to order or Ready to ship.
- Choose your processing time.
- Select Save changes.
