Troubleshoot Store Connections

Recover from wrong-account OAuth, broken sales channel to Production Partner mapping, and incomplete setup state.

Updated 2026-04-09

What This Usually Means

Most connection issues in Vaybel are one of these:

  • the wrong external account was authorized
  • the right account was connected in the wrong workspace
  • the channel is active but not linked to the intended Production Partner
  • a Production Partner store exists, but Vaybel is mapped to the wrong one

Fast Recovery Pattern

  1. Confirm the active Vaybel workspace first.
  2. Confirm the exact external store or account that was authorized.
  3. Confirm the connected sales channel still shows Active in Settings.
  4. Confirm the expected Production Partner is linked to that channel.
  5. Run the smallest validation step available before disconnecting anything.

Do not start by disconnecting everything.

Disconnecting and reconnecting without checking the workspace and connected account first usually makes the root cause harder to see.

Wrong Store After OAuth

Check:

  • which external account was actually shown during OAuth
  • whether you were inside the intended workspace
  • whether the connected store name in Vaybel matches the expected shop

Fix:

  1. Identify the exact wrong account.
  2. Disconnect only that integration.
  3. Reconnect from the correct workspace.
  4. Recheck the displayed store name before moving on to fulfillment setup.

Channel Active, Fulfillment Wrong

Check:

  • whether the sales channel has a linked Production Partner
  • whether the linked Production Partner store is the one intended for that channel
  • whether self-fulfillment was enabled instead of Production Partner fulfillment

Fix:

  1. Open Settings -> Integrations.
  2. Inspect the linked fulfillment state for the active channel.
  3. Relink the correct Production Partner store if needed.
  4. Re-run a small listing or product validation before publishing broadly.

Connection Looks Healthy But Publish Fails

Check:

  • whether the listing is targeting the expected channel
  • whether the channel has all required scopes and permissions
  • whether the Production Partner mapping matches the target sales channel
  • whether Vaybel shows sync, mapping, or draft-state warnings
