Create a drop.

A pinned trend seeds the brief (theme, moment, motifs, direction).

Parameters

namestringRequired

The release name, e.g. "Fall '26" or "Coquette capsule".

kindstringDefault: "other"

seasonal, capsule, trend, event or other.

briefobject

Optional object with theme, moment, mood, instructions (text) and palette, motifs (lists of text). Explicit keys override the trend seed.

target_datestring

Optional launch date, YYYY-MM-DD.

trend_idstring

Optional named-trend uuid to pin and seed from.

trend_match_idstring

Optional trend-match uuid (a keyword row) to pin and seed from.

idea_product_idstring

Catalog product UUID from the chosen design idea; requires trend_match_id and idea_group_index.

idea_group_indexinteger

Zero-based audience group in design_ideas. Its selected product supplies the brief direction.

Returns

The created drop payload (see drop.get).
