A named trend is a cluster of related search keywords with a story — "Coastal Grandma Revival", not "linen tshirt". This is the primary trend feed (same data as the dashboard's Find Trend page); the per-keyword metric rows behind each trend live under trend.list_keywords / trend.get_keyword.
Use this tool for trend recommendations, including garment-specific requests. Preserve the requested lifecycle. If fewer matching trends exist than asked for, show the available matches and say so briefly; offer to broaden the search rather than substituting keywords or relabeling other lifecycle stages. Present each choice by name with a short plain-language direction. Internal ranking scores are not exposed. After selection, use trend.get for that trend's keyword IDs and design direction.
Parameters
Optional filter — one of "emerging" / "rising" / "peak" / "declining".
Optional trend trend_type filter (e.g. "aesthetic").
1-indexed.
Clamped to [1, 100].
Optional search term (e.g. "tshirt" or "hoodie"). Requires a visible supporting keyword for that garment; filters results and view_counts without changing lifecycle labels.
Returns
Each: id, name, one_line, lifecycle_stage, trend_type, total_search_volume, peak_search_volume, cluster_size, breakout_count, suggested_product_types, seed_group, first_seen_at. Internal ranking scores are omitted.
{all, emerging, rising, peak, declining} for filter UIs.
